What is it used for?
Diazepam tablets are used for anxiety and restlessness, sleep problems and sometimes muscle spasms. The medicine reduces activity in the brain, has a calming and sleep-inducing effect, and relaxes muscles. Treatment is usually short-term. The medicine can cause dependence, and the risk increases with the dose and how long it is used.
